ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Dear visitors and listeners we are preparing for you the already jubilee 32nd year of the Haydn Music Festival. This festival focuses on the enlightened interpretation of the music of genius masters of the Baroque and Classicism periods. Three decades have passed under the baton of various festival playwrights. It was a very varied period. Even in the jubilee year, the concerts will take place in Pilsen. In the southern part of Pilsen region, we will visit places close to the genius composer, where he composed his first symphonies or, at least visited on his frequent trips from Dolní Lukavice or Vienna. During our concert stops with old music, we will visit the cathedral, small village churches, the castle or the monastery. At the same time, we are enchanted by the architecture of the monuments of Pilsen and its surroundings, the architecture and craftsmanship of bygone times, when the words internet and mobile phone did not exist yet. We are looking forward to a joint meeting in harmony of ingeniously created tunes. Your organizing committee
