ABOUT THE EVENT

You are invited to an exclusive musical experience: A celebration of what would have been Karel Gott's 85th birthday and the anniversary of the GOTT Cover Band, which has been playing the hits of the Golden Nightingale for 20 years. Extraordinary talent, tenor Milan Fiala, delivers a vocal performance almost indistinguishable from the original Karel Gott. The rich Sunday program will feature discussions, concerts, and dancing.

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Coffee Sweetened + Welcome Drink (Parkhotel Garden)

- Coffee, picnic, refreshments during a discussion with director Olga Malířová Špátová about the making of the documentary "KAREL," behind-the-scenes stories from the filming and the life of the Maestro and his family.

- Lecture by astrologer Jiří Kubík on Karel Gott's horoscope.

- Musical recital by Milan Fiala "42 Golden Nightingales" with piano accompaniment by Petr Berki in the Parkhotel Garden.

- Previews from Milan Fiala's upcoming book "20 Years of Singing Gott."

The media partners for the Karel Gott's Birthday project are Český rozhlas Plzeň and TV ZAK Plzeň.

In case of adverse weather conditions, the event will take place entirely in the Grand Hall of Parkhotel and the Lounge. The Parkhotel Garden will be open to the public only during this event. Parking in the Parkhotel Plzeň area is free. We recommend taking advantage of accommodation and refreshment options at the hotel and hotel restaurant.
