Robert is celebrating his 35th birthday and his friends keep asking him: “Why are you still unmarried? Haven’t you found the right one? Isn’t it time for you to settle down and start a family?” Robert himself tries to find the answers to such questions while he visits and has dinner or a drink with his married friends, observing their married life and listening to them telling him about the pros and cons of marriage. He contemplates his own life and future during many amusing situations. Will he eventually succumb to his friends’ pressure or will he retain his freedom?

The Czech premiere of the internationally acclaimed brilliant comedy by the famous musical composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who co-created world-famous musicals, such as West Side Story, Gypsy and Sweeney Todd, presents an intelligent and entertaining musical with lively music, viewing relationships honestly and humorously.
