ABOUT THE CONCERT

The world-renowned drumming ensemble YAMATO from the Japanese drumming capital of Nara Prefecture is returning to the Czech Republic after two years!

The phenomenal drummers are planning a world tour for 2024 with a new conceptual show "Hinotori - The wings of the Phoenix" and as part of the World Tour 2024 they will also visit six cities in the Czech Republic. They will perform in Ostrava, Zlín, Pilsen, Hradec Králové, Brno and end the tour in Prague.

In 2024, the drummers are coming out with a new performance "Hinotori - The wings of the Phoenix", which will be a celebration of movement, endurance, and determination in the journey to the source of life - the Sun.

As we are used to with the YAMATO ensemble, it will once again be a captivating audio-visual show that will get you out of your seats! The YAMATO drummers always captivate the audience with their sophisticated composition, sell out venues all over the world, receive standing ovations and great reviews. 2 hours of endless energy of Taiko drummers YAMATO - The Drummers of Japan is always an unforgettable experience for all age groups.

About YAMATO - The Drummers of Japan:

The YAMATO Ensemble was founded in 1993 by Masa Ogawa in Nara Prefecture, which is considered the "cradle of Japanese culture". Today, the ensemble is still based here and tours the world with traditional Japanese "Wadaiko" drums. Their drum show, which mixes drumming with traditional Japanese motifs, uses several dozen original Japanese drums (including an "Odaiko" drum made from a massive 400+ year old tree).
