Judy invites Punch to babysit their whiny child. Punch handles things his way. Just as he deals with Judy and the other characters later on. But when death finally comes, things get tough. How will it play out? Who knows.

About the theatre:

Buchty a loutky (Buns and Puppets) is an alternative puppet theatre troupe which performs for both children and adults. Since 1991, these distinctive puppeteers have produced more than 65 premieres for both children and adults, puppet and animated films and videos, many one-off projects in the areas of alternative theatre, music and film, often combining them.

With their innovative way of working, Buchty a loutky create a unique theatrical poetry. They approach both classical plays and their own pieces with a certain detachment and unmistakable humour, with a characteristic emphasis on the visual aspects, composed music and live soundtracks (combining old and new puppets, bric-a-brac props, toys and modern technology).

Since their beginnings, when Buchty a loutky stirred up the waters of the Czech puppet theatre with their now iconic productions, they have clearly been one of the top theatre companies not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.
