About theatre:
Daria Gosteva and Anastázie Dobrodinská (Borshch group) met at Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts, where they are both currently studying. Anastázie (ŘIP, Can I ask you, girls) is an actress and dancer and Daria (Dinopera, Moscow-Dachnoye, Heavy Theatre) is a stage designer and director. The vegetable ballet is the next step in Daria's exploration of traditional theatre forms and the potential of puppetry. The tragic dinosaur opera Dinopera was performed at Skupa's Pilsen Festival two years ago. As a ballet dancer, Anastázie is familiar with all the numbers in The Nutcracker. She has danced it herself – has done a thorough research on the potential of vegetable dancers to create a unique choreography. Vegetable Ballet is the artists' first collaboration.
